ESL Certifications

We are selective about our teachers in their backgrounds, professionalism and personalities so as to provide our clients with guaranteed learning experiences. Therefore, teachers with one of the following certificates are preferable.
In addition, for those teachers who meet our requirements such as at least one-year working with LinguaTutor, we are happy to support them to get the necessary training in order to enhance their teaching skills.

TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)	C	Varies E.g. Trinity Cert TESOL (Trinity College London)	This encompasses both TEFL and TESL and can mean either one or both. Basically this prepares a teacher to teach a student whose native language isn’t English.
TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)	C	Varies	This prepares teachers to teach English in a country where English is not the primary language.
TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)	C	Varies	This on the other hand would prepare a teacher to teach in an English speaking country to students whose first language isn’t English.
CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)	C	Varies ESOL(Cambridge English Language Assessment)	NO Teaching Experience Required(4 weeks full-time, 12 weeks part-time, face to face course)
TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test)	C	Cambridge ESOL(Cambridge English Language Assessment)	NO Teaching Experience Required *Modules: (Taken Separately) 1. Module 1: Background to language teaching 2.
